My daughter was due to start school and I thought it would be nice to have an A-Z poster on her wall to help her start to recognise letter shapes. I looked online, but none of the ones I saw felt like they matched the things she was interested in, so instead I began illustrating each of the letters, using her as the main focus in each illustration. That way I was able to pick objects that I knew she loved such as 'B for babycinno' and 'I for ice cream' and also use the letter 'M' for her name. 

My daughter is a big fan of the CBeebies Peter Rabbit show. She asked me if she could have a journal like his for her birthday. After a quick search online, I discovered there wasn't one to buy, so instead a designed one for her myself. I put lots of puzzles and games in it for her and also left some blank pages for her to draw on. 

I wanted to create invitations for my daughter's birthday parties that had a personal touch, and she really loved seeing herself on them, both as photographs, and illustrations.

I created a number of illustrations which were used on various covermount designs that I did for magazines such as It's Hot! and Girl Talk. These illustrations needed to be simple yet effective so they could be used on both a large and small scale.
